   It’d be nice if this caught on: I miss the days where the beats in hip hop had actual substance, creativity, and uncertainty behind them instead of boring 2-dimensional drum machine bullshit with a monotonous synth line or this “capitalize on the hooks of previous radio hits” garbage flavor-of-the-month artists like Flo Rida have been throwing into the music world.
