Winner ‘BEST ACTRESS’ – 2007 ‘reelheart International Film Festival’, Toronto Canada. Winner ‘BEST SHORT’ and ‘OVER-ALL BEST FILM’ in the Texas Black Film Festival 2007. Random clips from my performance in a fiction film rooted in African Folklore. A group of slaves live on a 19th century cotton plantation in South Carolina. Trapped, the slaves begin to lose hope as their situation ‘appears’ helpless.

Chana, That is not necessary. It will still of no benefit, only serve to make Africans brutal savages and criminals. We move up not down.

The white man will pay. Even If the white man today did not have anything to do with slavery, they and their children will be our slaves becauswe that is how God recompenses.
